On friday we got up and it was still raining! We headed to the seal colony, took a refreshing morning coastal walk (in the rain!) and then drove south down the West coast.

We had a luch stop at Punakaiki, where we went to see the pancake rocks and blow holes. It was a bit blustery but worth it to see the amazing formations where the sea had eroded the limestone.

Next stop was Greymouth to get fancy dress supplies for the evenings shenanigans! Our theme was binbags! As you can see from the photos, we decided to go as a wedding couple - there's not much you can do with balck white and binbags and seen as were honeymooning we thought we'd get away with it - not only that but we ended up winning!

It is called the Poo Pub because it was next to Lake Mahinapua (Ma-hin-a-POO-a). Just a silly name for a silly night - but it was all good fun.
