On our way to Nha Trang we drove through the Ngoan Muc Pass, known to the French as Bellevue Pass and also visited Garai Cham (Hindu Temple).
We arrived in Nha Trang at 3pm and I booked a room in the Ha Phuong hotel. A fine room with hot water, airco, tv for only $10 and situated near the beach. This is probably the nicest beach in Vietnam and the turquoise waters around Nha Trang are almost transparent, making for excellent fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving.
After my breakfast at the Hahn cafe I hired a bicycle to visit the Po Nagar Cham Towers.
It's worth it to visit them and the view from there is perfect. On my way back I took a few hours rest at the wonderful beach.
The next day I decided to take a boat trip around the islands
of Nha Trang. It was very relaxing experience: swimming and snorkeling in the clear blue sea, eating a very tasty lunch with all kinds of fruit and playing beach volleyball.
Where I stayed:
Ha Phuong hotel
