September 21st: I said goodbye to Kathleen who will leave to Kuta Beach. I decided to go to Sanur and left at 11:00 from the busstation. I arrived in Sanur at 12:30 and took a room in the Ananda hotel which is right by the beach. It's neat and clean and rooms with fan and cold water cost 25000 rp. Sanur stretches for about three km along an east-facing coastline, Sanur Beach
Sanur Beach
 with the landscaped grounds and restaurants of expensive hotels fronting right onto the beach. The beach pleasant and sheltered by a reef, but shallow at low tide. At high tide the swimming is fine and there is an array of watersports on offer (windsurfing,snorkeling,water-skiing,parasailing etc..

September 22nd: a very relaxing day: lying on the beach, eating, drinking and had a massage.
