Ty-- I know it's hard to believe, but we finally made it out of Cody, WY for good. We headed out around 8am for Yellowstone. Jamie has a bunch of photos to post. She is having a tough time deciding which ones to share. We saw lots of wildlife. Bison were everywhere. Small groups and large herds could be seen from the road. We did stop several times to take pictures of them. We also were stopped on the road due to Bison crossing. I'll try to post photos that I took of one of the Bison crossing adventures perhaps tomorrow. We also saw a pair of Bald Eagles, a Golden Eagle, an Elk family, many mule deer, Pronghorns, Pikas and Chipmunks. I'm sure I've missed listing a few critters, but we did see a bunch! The scenery was magnificent even breathtaking at times!!! After going through Yellowstone we came upon the Grand Tetons. OMG how beautiful! One awesome mountain range after another. An absolutely fabulous travel day!!!

We are now in Dubois, WY for the night and will head out to Casper, WY and Denver, CO tomorrow.
Joan -- We had an awesome ride today.  We rode on the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway, 212 through to Yellowstone National Park and then through the Grand Teton National Park on the way to Dubois.  It was a long day on the bikes through the most beautiful country anyone can see.  It was awesome from beginning to end.  We had a wonderful light to take shots in the morning and the same for the late afternoon.  We stopped for lunch in Cooke City, Montana before entering Yellowstone National Park through the Northeast Gate.

We did have some rain but it didn't last long for us.  The roads were wet and showed that we had just missed some rain.  Yes, we had thunder and ominous looking clouds but were really fortunate with the weather.  As Ty has already written, we saw lots of wildlife... a real treat!

Just in case I haven't said it.... I LOVE MY BIKE!!!!!  :-)  She's behaving very well and takes the twisties really well.  I just have to think about it and she does them for us.  What a great bike... I can relax and enjoy the ride.

It's really great to be traveling with two very funny women :-)  We're having a great time.

Jamie--We did lots of sight-seeing on the way to Yellowstone, in Yellowstone, and in the Tetons.  The scenery has been soooooooo awsome!!!!  I had never been to Yellowstone before!  Wow!  And Kate, yes, we are coming back home!!  We finally got out of Cody for good!!!  Now I have to figure out which pictures to upload!!!  So many!
