Ty--We decided to stay one more night in Cody. Joan's laptop died the other day and she has not been able to complete her papers on time. She is borrowing my laptop to complete her papers and it has taken her most of the day. She is about an hour from completing her first draft of both papers. Our room was not available for the additional night so we moved to another room. The motel has given us a larger room for the same rate. We have 3 queen size beds. 1 bed is in a separate room. The bathroom is larger and and we have our own microwave!!! Very exciting. There will be no stopping the popping of our Kettle Corn!!!  Woohoooo!!!!!

Jamie and I have kicked back most of the day while Joan has been staying on task. We did go looking for a new antenna for my motorcycle and did a little grocery shopping. We got Joan some Yogurt as a treat. That made her a happy camper! She stopped working long enough to have a sandwich and some Cheetos. then back to her papers she went. Jamie and I have played a little guitar and taken a nap. I hope Joan has the energy to deal with us later..... :-)

We did find an antenna however, I'm thinking it will not be the right replacement. We are waiting for the temps outside to decrease before taking a good look at the situation.

Joan--Wooohoo!!! got the papers completed and uploaded.  Thanks Ty for letting me use your computer.  I was up till 2 last night... and up at 5:30 this morning trying to get things done.  Good thing for a comfortable room.  We have a great room!  We brought the bikes from the other hotel where all the Motor Maids had theirs.  Ours looked so lonely.  Now they're here with us again.

I met a guy who rides a Vision.  We had a nice chat about the back seat bag and how to load it... the gps configuration, bike covers, bike service, how the bike handles, and the way the Victory dealers have been trying us.  In my case they've been less than stellar.  I need to find a dealer to change my oil and will have to put up the the red neck mentality.  They really like to deal with the "men" and their atv's.  I should get a guy to call and see if it makes a difference.

We're having a quiet evening.  Sandra & Charlie, Kathy T, Heidi R, Dorothy S and Rose haven't arrived at the hotel yet and may not be coming here after all.  We found out that the room they thought they have... isn't available.  Hope they are safely in the hotel by now... we have a big lightning storm coming through.  We'll be leaving in the morning for Yellowstone National Park and starting to move south and toward home soon.

Marcia on

Thanks for the update! Glad you got a nicer room and that Joan got her work done...."diligent Joan!" :)

Glad your bikes aren't lonely anymore, by the way!

Looking forward to hearing about Yellowstone! Pictures to go along with it, I'm sure!

Marcia :)
