G'Day Mates!
This weekend was about tiding up our apartment, packing and saying good-bye to good friends! Saturday evening we met our friends Paul & Suan, Steven & Karen, Max & Jan and Simon & Aileen for dinner at Borsalino's Restaurant in Nedlands. It was a fantastic dinner of at least five courses (I actually lost count) and several bottles of great Aussie wine! As we were a group of ten, we had the banquet dinner which we didn't mind at all. The only decisions we needed to make was the choice of main course: King Snapper or Beef Filet as well as the wine! The conversations and socializing lasted most of the evening! If we stayed any longer, I'm sure they would've had to pay their staff overtime!
We'll miss our group of friends
On Sunday, at our church St. John the Baptist, Father Wally acknowledged with the parish that we'll be departing Perth and returning back to Canada! He wished us a safe journey back! We'll thoroughly miss those weekly mass services and church outings! We arrived as a couple with our smiles and will leave (a bit tearful) having met a lot of very nice people and making a lot a great friends! Some, I'm sure, our paths will cross again!
Cheers, Rick & Elsie!

Rick Get's A New Aussie Headband !
! Rick will also miss those Saturday morning cycling classes at Floreat with Jacinda leading the class through 45 minutes of the best and hardest cycling a non-olympian could do! In addition, I'll miss Jane P. and Colin C. in those cycling classes! It's people like these that I'll miss most! And the Saturday morning post-class coffee at Delish! A week wouldn't be complete without our group meeting for coffee!
