This afternoon, we strolled down to Scarborough Beach and took in some exciting Boat Races at the Aussies. We found more competitors and spectators on the beach as all age groups are now competing! The Boat Races comprised of male and female competitors of all age groups!
All the Australian Surf Life Saving Clubs have their distinct club colours. In addition, the colourful boats, tents and flags adds to the rainbow of colours that spreads along Scarborough Beach!
Later in the afternoon, we gradually made ourselves down the beach to the Scarborough Amphitheatre where we watched a few Boat Skiers and Board Rescue Races!
It was another sunny and very warm day at Scarborough! As we get closer to the weekend, the competition is sure to get hotter!
As the Australians say when goin' to the beach.....Slip, Slop and Slap! That means, slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen and slap on a hat! Well, we're Canadian! One out of three aint bad!!
