Asked Basil to find us another place and he came up with this one. Very nice park it is. The beach is across the road from us so if we felt like sunbaking on the beach we do not have very far to go. Of course we do not intend to do any of that but it is still nice to have it there. They call this area the Costa del Sol and is supposed to be a popular area. Unfortunately it is also very quiet here and not very many people around as yet
. Judging by the amount of unit dwellings they have here, one would really hope that the next couple of months will fill them up, otherwise they are in trouble. The beach itself is not made of sand, it looks a little like crusher dust and pebbles towards the water. We presume that the more well known places around here have sandy beaches. The area itself is very pretty and easy on the eye. Of course we love it when it is so quiet as well. We will stay here for a couple of nights and then move on again towards the inland area. We have a lovely spot here at the campsite, shadecloth covers over every site, good idea and keeps you cool as well. The best 2 swimming pools we have seen for a long time. Tomorrow we will propably walk to the main town area and check out the local supermarket. We need to stock up a bit , family are coming to see us. Also Rick saw some shorts in a shop window and liked them, while the mood for shopping exists for him, we will oblige straight away, it may not happen again for a while.
A lovely drive to here once again, gosh Spain is nice, dry and dusty but very pleasing to the eye. By the way kids the real estate is very cheap here too, 2 bedr, 2 bathr, garage with beach access 109 euros and negotiable. see you in Spain
Easy day today and looking forward to the 15th.
Reluctantly packed up this morning and moved on to our next destination. We drove to the little village first to buy a few supplies and say bye bye to the local grocer. Hit the road towards our next destination which was supposed to be a little coastal town called Nerja. Basil found it ok and directed us to the caravan park, what a dump that was, nobody around of course but we did not want to stay there anyway. It was situated in the middle of no mans land with a freeway behind us and nowhere near the coast.
