Next destination Almagro, about another 50 km from where we were. good roads all the way again. We had picked out the caravan park there last night and intended to stop for the night however Charlie did not like it and absolutely refused to enter the gates. Just not good enough for her. There are supposed to be lots of historical buildings in the town, we did not find this out because the streets were all cobbled stones and very very old so gave up after about a couple of km and got out of there. What we saw was pretty and we were satisfied enough with that. Just carried on untill this place here which is in the middle of nowhere really. The drive to here was very scenic with lots of wheat fields, vineyards and olive groves, sometimes all three on the same patch. Also a section of the road was marked as a scenic route, lots of rugged and very high country. good to see. Spain realy is beautiful and always full of surprises. The park we are at suited Charlie very well, good facilities and very few people here. The full season here does not start for another week or so. Once again warm and sunny, we average about 30 degrees every day and the nights cool off very nicely as well.
Good day again today, tomorrow we are going to Granada and will stay there for a few nights. Hitting the big city again.
To our lovely Tinka Taylor who has had a pretty rough tme, we heard about your next step towards getting better, Mum told us. Well done Tinka, Rick and I are so very proud of you and love you to bits.xxx
