Where I stayed
camping le brabois
Once we arrived in the city called Nancy we were shocked into reality because it is a very big city with little to get excited about
. Unfortunately we had to drive through the middle of the city in order to get to this park which was not easy for Rick to do. Soooooo many traffic lights to go through, I must add that during this time I learned a few more English language words that I did not know existed. All in all Rick showed a lot of patience and did good to get us here. The park itself is nice, since we arrived we have been talking to an Irish couple , parked next to us. The conversation has not stopped since they arrived, lovely though and they have given us a few good tips for our trip to Ireland. Still chatting to them now. A lot of dutch people here as well.
Tomorrow we will endeavour to get closer to Dijon although we will probably park ourselves not very close to the city.
Fresh rolls and bread has been ordered for our breakfast tomorrow morning , should be good.
First off all to be fair to Europe we must say that the weather has been warm and sunny the last 4 days or so. so hopefully the jackets can be washed and put away for the rest of the trip. Yeah right, but here is hoping anyway. We have had a super time in Luxembourg and felt a little sad leaving here this morning. The plan for the day was to drive 300km to Dijon but that soon changed to 140km to a city called Nancy. Why you may ask, simply because we felt like it. Once again only the country roads and lots of villages to drive through. One thing we noticed this time is that the villages looked a little sadand neglected ,and seemed to suffer from a lack of money in order to keep them up to scratch. Still unique in their own right but just a little messy at time. Maybe the economic problem is affecting them as well. Hopefully things will improve for the villagers in time.
