Preparing Charlie for her trip abroad

We had a fair bit of sunshine today with only occasional showers. At the risk of sounding like a local it felt a little warm in the sun as well. It must have reached 16 degrees at least but it sure felt nice standing in the sun.
Graham and Rick spend the evening doing an IQ test on Travelpod and suprise suprise they came up with an IQ of 113, were advised of how clever they were and would have no trouble getting through any University course. I let you make up your own minds about those results. Obviously forgetfulness was not taken into consideration.
A good day was held by all and most importantly Arsenal played and won, a must in the March household and getting to be a must for Rick and I as well. Go the Gunners!!!!!!!!!
Today was a day for fixing things before we make our way across to Europe, which mainly meant giving Charlie the once over. Charlie showed a warning light the other day that would not go out, so we took her to the doctor's for a check up. Luckily it was only a dirty connection and yesterday morning we picked her up again in A1 mechanical condition. She needed a few things fixed internally and a good wash as well. All went nicely until it came to replacing the tap. We bought a new one last year but never really fitted it properly before we left so that was a job to be done. All went well until we tested it and of course water everywhere. Rick spend hours trying to fix it and knew what to do, but just could not get at it properly . After many hours he gave up and call in the experts. Not an easy job here as most caravan repairers are booked out till the end of May. Finally we managed to get onto one of those mobile fixer uppers who will be here 11.00am tomorrow morning. Glad of that. Once that is done she will be ready for off as they say here. Just have to put a few clothes in and of course stock the cupboards with a bit of food as well.
