Great day today, woke up to a dull and oh so cold morning with an expected maximum temperature of 9 degrees. Luckily is was warm and cosy inside, so a sense of how cold it was outside did not hit us till later.
First thing to do was say good morning to Charlie who has been waiting in the driveway for us for the last couple of days. She looks as good as ever, had a service done and only needs a light bath to look like new again. Carol and Graham are looking after their two grandsons for a couple of days and are having sleep overs here as well. A couple of cute boys named Thomas 4 and Henry 2. The apple of their grand parent's eyes of course but also very good and play very well all day.
Organised Charlie's insurance this morning, it was a lot easier this year than last year. Last year no one wanted to know about us due to not being a resident , but this year we just quoted our previous policy number and all went through easy. Finally the time came to venture outside and hit the shops. Oh boy that woke us up. It was fairly windy as well and of course the temp was still low. Ingrid the jacket shopping for dad in Brisbane was the best thing ever, not one whinge and of course your jacket that you lend me was just the best. So we were cosy and warm except our faces, watery eyes and cold noses. Welcome to England Rick and Will. Stayed inside for the rest of the day.
Lovely colours in the garden , all the bulbs are flowering nicely at this time.
Just took it easy for the rest of the day and try to catch up from the last few days. Felt a bit jet lagged this time. Early to bed.  See you tomorrow
