Been a while since we've updated our blog, but you know how it is. Golfing, recreating, running, shopping etc. etc. Spent 6 weeks in Monte Cristo, Tx. Played golf 35 days out of 42. The other seven drinking terrific $1.00 margeritas in Mexico. Met some terrific people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. After leaving there, we kinda blew through the rest of Texas (a lot of flat, boring landscape) then into New Mexico. Took us 4 days to get to Casa Grande, Arizona where we met up with friends from home, Mike and Shirley. Had a really nice visit there, checking out the area for possible destination next year. From there, we made our way to California. Found a site at Quail Valley in Desert Hot Springs about 1/2 hr. from Palm Springs. We left for Disneyland shortly after arriving here to meet our son Tyler and Orion who were flying down. It was fantastic to see them and we all had an awesome time, pretty much covering every ride there. Orion got picked from the crowd to be a padawan (jedi in training) with the star wars show. I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of his trip and was really fun to watch.
We decided to just stay put here in Desert Hot Springs until we start heading home in about 10 days. Weather has been incredible so hard to leave but am gettting pretty anxious to get home. Hope by the time we get there, Spring wll be on the way. See you soon ! Rick and donna
