Do you know that there are ducks that live in a hotel in downtown Memphis???? Well, there are - and since the 1930's tourists try to see them waddle through the hotel lobby. And we- the youth choir of 2006 got to see it today!

We sang for two YMCA children's camps - which were so much fun! The choir did a fantastic job, especially at the second camp. The first YMCA was in Arkansas - right over the border and then we came back to Tennessee for the second performance. It is such a blessing to sing for kids, they are completely into the story and the youth.

After our performances, we drove to downtown Memphis - to the tour Mud Island - a replica of the entire Mississippi River. We played in the park and rolled down hills, and I was able to confiscate a cell phone from one of our youth, he tossed it to me to make sure it didn't get hurt while he rolled...that was fun. :)

We sang Happy Birthday to Ashton at least 17 times today. So Happy Birthday Ashton!!!!

Then on to the Peabody Hotel - to watch the ducks at 5:00 pm...some of our group went to Beals Avenue and were able to get some souvenirs. Dinner was at the "Rendezvous" for Memphis Barbecue - YUMMY! Lots of barbecue sauce, coleslaw and baked beans!!!

Tomorrow we are on to St. Louis!!! So from a VERY tired Emily - to all of you...we are blessed and LOVE that we get to share our music and faith with others this week!!!
