Arrived in Amman after a tiring flight from BKK, only to discover I had no way of getting any dinars (cue much looking around for exchanges and the like). Got the airport bus (which DOESN'T go to the Abdali Bus station any more fact fans) so had to pay extra for a taxi. Great start lol.

Amman is an interesting place (despite the cacophany of car horns and car-dodging pedestrians!). The citadel and Dead sea Scrolls were interesting, as was the amphitheatre. Met up with the 'Intrepid' guys at the start of an overland tour through to Petra, Wadi Rum and into Egypt.

Looking forward to it!!!
