Hi all this is my 1st entry before i set off on my mad 12 month journey across Central and South America, bags all packed sitting here in Richards bedroom the day before departure at Heathrow Airport anxiously waiting for it all to begin. Not sure what to expect or how i will manage but it is something i have always wanted to do.

Ive quit my job, rented my flat and got a big loan out so its been quite an undertaking, not sure if this is the right thing to do but the main thing is at taking part and actually going ahead and doing it, and if it does go all tits up - least i gave it a shot :D
