Surprisingly we all slept really well in the Blue Meanie (new nickname for our van).  We didn't wake up until 8am.

We headed off into Bath for a look - decided to pass on going into the Bath House, as we will see plenty of this in Rome.  Bath is a really lovely city so we just walked around and looked at the various houses - including the famous Cresent and Circus.  We are in Jane Austen country here - but no surprises that I couldn't get any interest in taking a look at her museum.

Our GPS (nicknamed Betty) is a godsend - I am sure many marriages have been saved through the use of a GPS.

We passed through a really geogorous village - Castle Combe - where the houses are really are really small.

Betty guided us to Stonehenge where we jumped out and took a look - it is very impressive.  We didn't stop for long as we were on a mission to get to Andy and Sue's in Tonbridge by mid afternoon.

Andy was Grant's boss for 2 years when he was living in London and they have stayed in touch ever since.  About 8 years ago Andy and Sue's son Stu came and stayed with us for a month or so in Wellington while he was on his OE.

It was great to see them again, and they put on a fantasic BBQ for us, and Stu and his finance Claire came up from Brighton for dinner, which was a great surprise for us.  Thank you Andy and Sue for the great meal, good company and comfy beds!
