Marge squeezing
the gherkin
Marge squeezing the gherkin

Last night we had a third round of viewings for the house - and this time we appear to have come up trumps! 3 interested people, and one that we're keen on in particular. A family of 4 with two kids - ages 2 & 7. By all accounts the 7 y.o. loved the little single bedroom, and flew up the dodgy stairs like a thing possessed. It'll be a real load of our minds if their references check out and they move in this weekend - perfect timing.

We survived our short hike to Oxford last week, and were treated to a great meal in a Lesbian (or is that Lebanese?) restaurant by M&J. A great night of hubbly bubblys, youtube and yapping followed - although we had to forego the lunch with Cian the following day. The quiff check will have to wait for another day....We did however manage to get up on the London Eye on Weds, and checked out the stunning views from the top. It's a spectacular piece of engineering, but it says something when a jaded thrillseeker like me reckons it's all a bit slow and boring....yeah, get me up nice and high so I can see for miles....then get me down again - quickly. However, the real highlight of the jaunt was when Sinead squeezed the gherkin in front of everyone in the capsule. Saucy minx.
