This morning we headed up the road towards Cobano for some Ziplining. We've done it before in New Hampshire and at the Iguazu Falls in Brazil, but it's always such fun to zip through the tops of trees like a monkey that we had to add this to our list. The company we used, and from what they tell us, the only one that does ziplining was Sun Trails. The guides were very friendly and spoke excellent English for those who did not speak Spanish.
We had a woman in our group that was terrified of heights, but they worked with her so that she was able to do most of the lines. As part of the trip, we stopped at a waterfall to do some swimming and then continued zipping on.
We didn't see any monkeys on the trip :-( but we did see some bats hanging out on a tree.
Afterwards, we headed back to Montezuma to the Restaurant Montezuma and had some paella for lunch. It wasn't bad, but we've had better service elsewhere. The thing that Restaurant Montezuma has going for it is an incredible view of the beach as you have your meal or drink your Sangria...very good Sangria, too.
BTW, the ATM is still out of service.
