At noon we returned to the ship for lunch. Then came the time to explore the coral reefs. We could choose to snorkel (glasses and tube) or get on a glass-hulled boat, we chose the latter. I am fond of diving and I know many Caribbean reefs, but its here are superior to all those I have known
The next day the rain came again, he did intermittently throughout the day, but webut we must have known Australian fauna, so we took a public bus and we headed north in the region to visit the Cairns Tropical Zoo.
On the way we first saw kangaroos grazing in the field next to the cows, then the zoo had the opportunity to feed these and some Japanese tourists, Rika and Yuri, because my wife innocently asked them: " Do you want?" And they accepting surprised us.
After eating, better say half-eaten ! as we share our food, we spent the rest of the day among the Australian fauna, the pampered koalas and shows of crocodiles, snakes and birds of prey.
To return, we surprised a talkative driver, choosing instead the express bus one slow, that we walked through endless rural locations before arriving at Cairns.
