Hello,

Just arrived in Singapore for the start of the third (and final, boo hoo) leg of the trip.

So we have spent the last two days in Singapore where shopping is most certainly a national pastime, I have never seen so many shopping centres in my entire life! The very strange thing is that alot are filled with things you can buy in the UK, not that strange you are all thinking, perhaps...but most of the clothes shops here have the winter collections which considering it is in the high 20/low 30 deg C here!

This morning an even stranger thing happened though, Tom was looking forward to going shopping! The reason being that we were going electricals shopping to get a new ipod, boys and their toys!

This afternoon we managed to break away from the malls and head for some of the more historical regions of the city centre including the mascot of the city, the merlion (see some of the pictures).

Tomorrow we are off to Malaysia, back on the beloved bus.
