To celebrate TET, our Vietnames staff organised a staff party at a local restaurant. It was a great night with a speacial performance by the female staff, dancing a traditional Viet tet dance. Jenny was involved and spent two whole sessions practicing at school and organising costumes.... Check out the photos!
We got to know many more staff last night - everyone is keen to get to know you and include you in what is going on.The Vietnamese staff know how to have a good time and entertained us with their antics, espcially the ladies. They are all on a high because it is the holiday period and time to visit family and friends.
Many school staff are heading out of he country for the week, trying to get some arm weather. lats week the top temp each day was around 12-15 degrees which seems really cold. The locals say it is the coldest TET for many years.....must be all the icy weather coming down from China.
Off inot the city again today to se all the TET decorations. The traffic and crods willbe cazy, but we have to se it if we are really going to know what it is like.
Cheers
