From what we were told over the PA this morning, Hubbard Glacier is one of the biggest glaciers in North America. It's supposed to be spectacular! At six miles wide, you can see it from miles and miles away. As a tide water glacier, there are lots of chunks that fall off throughout the day.

... That is one of the reasons we didn't get to see the glacier today. That, and the incredible fog that rolled in, kept us from our last major site of the cruise. So we have a full (but rainy and foggy) day at sea as we make our way to Whittier. At least that even with the inclement weather, the seas are still pretty smooth.

Tomorrow we disembark, take a bus to Anchorage, and then drive up to Denali National Park. I'll be updating when I can!
