Today was a laid back day at sea where we rested the best we could, but we had to get up early. You see, today was the day the gift shop had their Russian bazaar. They had a number of different souvenirs available. So you can picture the sale, picture in you head Black Friday at Best Buy, but without the aid of a circular poured over with a belly full of turkey and pumpkin pie. That was how crazy the sale was.

Don't get me wrong, we made out fine! ;)

Here’s a shout out to my mother, Carol… After the sale, more rest was required (I’m telling you, it was crazy!). Then Bernie and Steph decided to go play some bingo. It was a good thing they did. Steph won 2 games in a row! Bernie was worried that the players who have been with bingo the whole cruise may hurt our little Steph when she was getting rather close to winning the jackpot, but alas that did not pan out. With Steph’s new found confidence with bingo, she is planning on ditching all of the other new careers she has found on this trip to be a professional bingo player. There are professional bingo players like there are professional poker players, aren’t there?

What’s with all the military ships lately? We saw another one today, this time on the open see. Couldn’t see which country it belonged to, but we were off the coast of Denmark. I guess they were friendly…

Later we worked out and then got ready for dinner at the Italian restaurant on the ship. It was good, but not really anything to get overly excited about. Not at all like the bridge that we went under on our way back past Sweden and Denmark. You may recall we went under this bridge once, but it was raining and nasty out. This time the weather was much better and we stood out on deck to see the bridge go by. We took some pretty cool pictures which I posted. The most amazing part of the trip under the bridge is that there is only about 30 feet of clearance from the tippy-top of the ship to the bottom of the bridge. You could almost see the people driving the cars!

So all in all, it was a boring day compared to our other adventures on this trip. Tomorrow is our last port of call, Oslo, Norway. We don’t get in until about 2:00 PM, so we’ll have to keep ourselves busy until then.
