We awoke to a rooster under our hut at around 6, they do start at about 3am, but this one was a real alarm under the bloody house! and after breakfast spent 4 hours on the raft getting back to our pick up point, the scenery on the river was just beautiful, and so calm, well except when we hit rapids and then it was really exciting! kris was a real hero, polingm and pushing the raft and playing silly buggers with our hard case guides (nicknamed sit and down) trying to push each other in the water and steering each others rafts off course.
We were reeally glad to get back to chiang mai and showers i can tell you.
But we had such a GREAT time in the hill tribes and would reccommend it to one and all!
