Only 2 months til Africa!!!!

Hi, Everyone! I am transferring my BLOG entries to this service. I am able to do more on this one; upload pictures, etc.
Well, I still need to do more fundraising. Even though I have had a lot of wondeful contributors, I am hoping to raise another $1200. This trip is costing a lot more than I expected!
I have gotten my passport, my shots, and my airline tickets. Next week I am going to the Tanzanian Embassy in DC to apply for my Visa and Temporary Residency Pass. I hope that isn't too complicated.
I have heard there is some unrest in Kenya, which is bordering the section of Tanzania where I will be staying. I will keep an eye on the situation.
I think I am going to call the local Gazette paper and see if they will interview me. Maybe it will help me fundraise. I am also hoping that some organizations will want to have me speak upon my return. I am hoping to familiarize people with the situation in Africa.
I am going to go back to work now, See ya!
