What I did

Packing up and moving on is a work of art.  We now have it down to a tee.  Team "move on" swings into action, dismantling tent, stuffing chairs, tent and bags into cubby holes, strapping down everything that won't fit into cubby holes, "do we need petrol"?, set satnav, "one last pee" and off we go, "on the road again".  If Vinnie sings this loudly, off key and out of  tune one more time I'm going to have to kill him.
Yesterday we drove down through the Fleurieu Peninsula stopping off at Victor Harbour (stunningly quaint and beautiful) where, sitting in the sun, we had a great brunch of criossant and pastries at Cafe Bavaria.

Moving down the coast we than had lunch at aquacaf, recommended to us by the Tourist Information office in MacLaren Vale.  Now, this WAS good value (unlike the other place that I mentioned previously).  Vinnie and Hils had mussels, cockles (I had to refrain from singing, loudly, out of key and out of tune "cockles and mussels, alive, alive O" but I decided that they might not appreciate my humour!)

I don't know if you know this but Australia is full of big things.  Like a big banana, a big orange, etc. We have always looked out for them, but somehow always miss them when suddenly, and quite unexpectely, there was a big lobster right in front of us.  And we weren't even looking.  Maybe our "big" hunt is on the turn and we will start seeing them.

And today we went to the caves in Naracoote.  Caves are not my thing.

Anne, you are having one humdinger of a trip - although I think I would have fainted had a bowl of food that size been put before me!

The food made me hungry, it's dinner time but just having chicken. Wow, what a trip. We're looking into Utah and we could make a really long car trip through there, but we'll keep it concise. After your cruise, hope you're ready for a road trip again. Love your TravelPod. Can't wait until you're here to tell us everyting in person.

I must admit Hallette it did look a challenge, but I only had salad, half of which I had to leave. Such a waste of food.

I can't wait for our road trip Betsy. I love being with you both you are so cool and relaxed. As you know, I don't have to fly until 10th June, so make the trip as long as you like! I will love it either way.
