a fly over nepal with the mountains on the horizon is great...even though was not planned, but due to the maoists strike i ad to do it..otherwise i would've been stuck in Bhairawa..which is a pretty town, with also wonderful ppl...but i couldn't really stand to stay there long..moreover i got the chance to catch this flight, which was only 3 hours late..and didn't have to wait for 2-3 days like the other westerns on my flight...
anyways..pokhara is a incredibly peaceful town...not many ppl around, even though is the base for the treks on the annapurna circuit but shit loads of shops..which are not working much, of couse due to the lack of tourists.. i tried to ask for accomodation in a buddhist monastry, where i would like to stay for a bunch of days...to relax from the tough life of india...
so if you don't hear from me for a while is because i got lost in meditation and puzha in a monastry... anyways i'm staying in a great hotel, for only 1.1euro...and i had a warm shower, which i was missing since the first days in india.. i would like to meet some ppl around..i'm missing a travelling companion in these days...and i'm planning to go on a trek for a bunch of days too... so probably you won't see much updates in the following days... i asked also some things regarding how to get to tibet..and seems that will be really extremely expensive...i might try to abusively cross the border somewhere..ahah nepali ppl are supercool and hospitable and friendly and open..i enjoy so much my stay here...even if is only 2 days...and no ppl harrassing you all the time as in india..fantastic.
so take care for the next days..i'll be enjoying myself and hope you'll do the same! ciao More thumbnails ...
