A perfect Pousada
I was very curious, because I will see Aleksandra a trainee from Macedonia. I have heard many things from Thomas in Belo Horizonte. And she will stay with us four days in Salvador, but Melih and I we had at first to search for a nice pousada.
Barra is a good place to stay... nice beach and nice restaurants and a lighthouse is also near.
So we walked with all our baggage through the streets of Barra passing many different very ugly Pousadas and by the way very expensive ones.
After a while we found in a small street the perfect Pousada Milagres.
Pousada Milagres Salvador
To stay there is like to live with a family. She and her son are so kind. She was giving us food when we are hungry and she even washed and ironed my trouser.
We took a room for three persons and went to a restaurant "SPAGHETTI LILÁS"
(Rua Professor Fernando Luz, 75, Barra).
This was a kilogram restaurant (advised by the woman of the pousada) with delicious marine food.
Many different Restaurants in Salvador
After we ate a lot we went to the near beach and relaxed.
Melih went in the evening to a diving center (he is a diving instructor in Turkey)to book a diving tour and he also went to the hotel where he wanted to meet Aleksandra.
I used the time with surfing in the Internet ... two hours ... so I could upload my pictures to my yahoo group ;) ... I love Internet and computer ;)
Aleksandra and am I a Receptionist?! and a Guy Parade
She entered the Pousada with Melih and the first thing she thought is that I am the receptionist ;) , because I was sitting at the table in the entrance.
Aleksandra is tall, thin, blond and very beautiful. So we will really look like tourists the following days.
The Lady of the Pousada told us that there is a big festival this day ... a Guy Parade (Parade da Gay)at the Praça Castro Alves ...
Melih was totally worry and I think he didn`t like it. But the Music was genial.
And Alkesandra and I we enjoyed the music, dancing and people watching. There were a lot of transvestites. ;) ... crazy people
Here is the program of the parade
And we also met some Brazilian Boys. They were nice and we wanted to go out with them in the night. So we started walking through the streets in the direction of Pelourinha.
The streets were sooooo dirty and it was stinky everywhere ... people were peeing in front of us on the street .... iiiiihhhhhhgiiiiitttt!!!
Aleksandra saw a girl with blond short hair and she said "Wait, maybe it is Ivana, a girl from Bosnia". And She was it ... unbelievable ;)
After a short girls talk we continued walking, but the Brazilians lost the way ... I think they have no clue about the city ... they are living here or?! ;)
So had to take a taxi, because it is really dangerous in the night. I mean I don`t feel it, but I guess it is dangerous.
The rest of the night consist of beer and cocktail drinking ;)
This night we paid 10 Reais for the taxi, but we will have it cheaper the next days ;)
Good Night! Boa Noite!
