Where is the Guide - or the Brazilian Way of Life?

It was difficult to get upthis morning, but we thought we have a appointment.
So we had a very fast breakfast ... I had this, because I can be very insufferable if I can not eat in the morning.

So we nearly run to the beach to catch our guide. But there was no guide. I was not really suprised that he was still sleeping :) that are Braszilians

But I was lucky because I could have a real breakfast now. And I ate a lot.

Fortunately there was the guide at 9 am and we offered us (we are really lucky) a free trip (normally it is something arround 10 Reais) with that small ship ... mhmmm it is more a float with a sail ;) ... But it does its job.

We arrived after a short time a riff

full with tourists and these strange black animals ...
At the first moment I thought that is a smooth plant but if you touch it you feel very hard spicks. And it moves these spicks ... really strange feeling ;)
... I think it was a SeaIgle

And there are also some basins with tourists and some fishes. You even can touch them if you are fast enough. They are really beautiful. But I hate this salt water! It`s hurting.

Our free offer didn`t includ the way back and so we had to swimm back to the beach in the very warm crystall clear water. ... that`s to make you jealious ;)

That`s Brazil

Brazilian Transport System

... and there is really a kind of system ...

We used these small white VW Vans ... they are a kind of crazy ... they just called out off the bus the destination and you have to decide very fast. Then you have no security things in it and it is full with people and maybe other things like big sacks of corn.

And of course loud Brazilian music. Funny and quite cheap way to travel.
But the best is that it is also a very good sightseeing tour through the small cities. We drove through all kind of cities and villages to see the rich houses and the poor ones which are sometimes just made of mud or palmleaves or only like a tent.

But the people even if they are very poor take care of themself and enjoy there life as much as they can.

When we reached Maragogi we escaped of the full van and entered very hungry the next restaurant. But it seemed to be not the touristic part of the city ... everybody was looking at us ... and we didn`t know if we should stay or not.
And in fact it was raining very heavy so that we thought it is better to take a private car and to go to Maceio.

Click here to jump to more info about Maragogi ... there is also a touristic part ;)
