Flag of Argentina  , Patagonia,
Friday, April 16, 2010

We kept this entry short because it is our hope that the pictures (and captions) will tell the full story.  What we saw in and around El Calafate was simply spectacular.  From a quaint lakeside town nestled in the hills of Patagonia to the Perito Moreno glacier, this has been the highlight of our trip so far.

Surely, Perito Moreno can be considered an 8th wonder of the world?

this is too "cool". What an adventure! loved the whiskey with the glacial ice-warms the heart. it is unfathomable to know someone on the trip from NY.
Wish we were there for such an adventure. I hope things will continue to fall into place the way it has so far. you skill and research for the trip has seemed to pay off. Cheers to continued adventures.

Sam, You met someone you knew? I did the glacier ice drinks in Alaska. It was great.
