So like I said before, we decided that we wanted to get away from all the tourists that have been flocking to Italy... And also, I wanted to see the Alps one last time before I had to return to the states and Scott (being from Colorado) missed the mountains.. so Como/Lecco was perfect for us. Anyway, as a cheaper option we decided to go to camping and stay in a bungelow whih really worked out for us. We had our own private beach and a beautiful view of the alps.. Also there were no tourists there! And no on spoke english... which we had 2 people that could speak italian pretty good so it all worked out. Anyway, even though we were there only for 3 days, we managed to make so many memories! Roasting smores over the gas oven, a great breakfast cooked by yours truely, a full day of laying out on the beach with drunken friends getting into the ice cold lake, trains braking down for no reason, hour long bus rides, fresh canolli's, a great italian dinner for almost nothing!, playing in the playground at 2am under the crystal clear night sky, watching the sunset over the alps, renting paddle boats on lake como, taking bets on which house was George Clooney's, laying in the grass, playing hackey sack, playing cards, waking up in a freezing bungalow and going outside because it is warmer, Smore's for lunch and dinner... I mean who could ask for more?! Those are just a few to name.. Anyway, here are some pictures to help give you an idea of why I was in paradise.. But like always.. pictures never do you justice as to what a place is really like!
