From cool mountain bliss we catapulted into prairies and badlands. Spent a fun afternoon touring through Teddy Roosevelt Nat'l Park looking for Bison.  The sky was erupting with lightening, the prairie dogs were popping in and out of their holes, and lo and behold we did find wild horses and buffalo roaming in the land of the free. Oh give me a home, where the buffalo roam, and the skies are not cloudy all day.  Home, home on the range, yes that’s us folks, we have entered a new domain. Country music is the only choice if you can get radio reception.  Fortunately we have books on tape and cds to keep us entertained.  I think you’ll like the pictures, we have taken 600 or so shots on this trip and I really had fun staring down the buffalo to get a good one.   We stopped in Bismarck, North Dakota to take a picture of Nels at the Capitol.  It is a quaint old town on the Missouri River.  Big news:  the rodeo is coming to town.   That’s all folks.  Randi
