Ok, so here I am in Norway, getting even more rain than in the previous stops... Everyone told me before I left that "Norway was going to kill me for prices", and it indeed is. I have to keep my pockets tightly locked at all times, so that the money doesn't just fly away and disappear into nowhere. And on top of that, I got no host in Bergen, so am staying in a hostel. My bed is number 28 in the room, and is not even the last...
There are nice things to see here, though, I spent some time in the Aquarium (saw some live codfish, :D) visited some churches and museums, and got an aerial view of the city from the Fl°yen mountain. Also could walk around a little in times of less heavy rain. I also got to see an organ concert in Johanneskirke in the second night, but it was not that good. Maybe I just don't get the pipe organ.
Anyway, on the last day, after a continuous weather forecast of "overcast with showers" (which was in reality an euphemism), I decided to book a fjord tour anyway, and that took the whole day. Incredibly, though, the sun had some pity on me and showed up, to shed some light over a really beautiful landscape. Deus is quite easy to spot there, in the reflections over the water, in the waterfalls, in the forest-covered mountains, in the seagulls escorting our ship, in the view from the Gudvangen-Voss road... I mean, I don't know whether he exists, but if he does, some piece of him was left here in Norway.
Tomorrow morning I get my train to Oslo.
