It's been five days since I set out from Rio, and I still feel like I'm in some sort of fairy tale. Maybe not exactly a fairy tale, but somehow out of standard reality. I guess a rather big part of that feeling might stem from the jet lag piled up with my farewell-party-induced sleep deprivation, that gives me the impression I am walking on clouds and makes me fall asleep at random intervals without much warning. Maybe some part is caused by the fact that the Swiss cities I've been visiting actually look very much like they are a part of some children's book cloud castle. Maybe it's the fact that I have not stopped yet since I landed in Switzerland, having arrived right in the middle of a weekend-long Couch Surfing party in Bern, then leaving to a village called Cuarny in the Swiss countryside, attending the invitation of an US girl called Sara I met in Bern, and now to Neuchâtel to another couch surfer's house that was offered unexpectedly.
Or maybe I feel like this because I didn't make many preparations before leaving Brazil. There were a ton of things I wanted to arrange, and probably as many plans I wanted to make, but I ended up neglecting most of them. But then again, what exactly would I prepare for? I don't have much more than some fluid goals, and that seems to be enough. Maybe I shouldn't be looking too far for paths to follow, last times I tried to do so they just changed wildly before I  had a chance to reach them, catching me unaware. Maybe, after all, paths can't be seen except in hindsight. Maybe the paths we think we see are just the ghosts of other people's pasts, while the true ones are only defined when we print our feet on the soft ground. I'm going with that idea for a while, see where it leads me.

Run Forest, run!
Boy, do I envy you!? (in a good way, of course)... it's like I wanna be you when I 'grow up'. lol
I love to read about your journeys and think that in a way, you're taking us with you. Thanks for sharing!! I wish you all the fun life can bring... Like I've said before, seize the day - the world is yours for the taking (borrowed that from Eminem lol), but please remember to come back home! :)

ps: I never know what language to use when commenting here, so I usually go by the one you chose for your post! ;)
