A.m - We went to the Serpent Exhibition where they have lots of different types of snakes, it was very interesting and we never realised that not all snakes lay eggs!!, well now we know lots about different types of snakes and has made us paranoid about our planned ´night walk´ this evening.

Afternoon - we went on Don Juan´s coffee plantation tour, we got to see the whole proccess from growing coffee plants to the finished product, Ren drinking it and feeling pretty wired all evening.

Evening - Its time for our night walk in the forest, we saw coatis (part of the racoon family), agoutis (not sure how to spell this but looked like a big big rat), then went on to find the tarantula lair, not Emily´s best bit and asked to be as far away as possible, so while Emily was shaking at the back of the group, our guide shined a light into a whole where there was an orange kneed tarantula, it was a female and she was huge...the guide then enticed the tarantula out with a big stick, and this point Emily thought she was going to vomit!!  We also saw some Cane Toads, and the best part was that we found a sloth, although it was very difficult to see because it was curled up in the top of the tree, but you could see its long coat and its arms with the binoculars, we saw it have a bit of a scratch too.
