Hello,

This is the 1st day of 2009, and to celebrate this 1st day, we are all going to dogsledding.
My dad booked the trip a month ago to make sure we had room. It is not too far from Quebec City. It is called "Aventure Plein Air Inukshuk, In" and they have a nice web www.aventureinukshuk.com
We had a great time ! Of course temperature was still below O F (-20 C), but we put a lot of cloth on.
After a very good breakfast, we headed to the dogsled. When we arrived, what a surprised, about 100 dogs jumping around. We went to say HI, and receive a lot of kises from them...nice dogs. After a quick explanation how to ride a sled, we were ready to go. Zoe & I were with a instructor. my Mon, dad and Clementine on a sled, and Papy DD and Cricri on another one. The dogs were very existed to go (they bark very loud). Finally we went...it was so much fun. the trail was about 15 miles for about 2 hours. Passing by open areas, in the woods. It was going fast at time. We got to (Zoe & I) to drive the dogsled ! That was cool ! Look at the pictures and small movie to see.
We came back and had a snack with a hot chocolate. I needed that...it was cold. We went to say goodbye to the dogs (they look like wolf!), and headed back. We stopped on the way back on the St Laurent River to see it all frozen solid...very imppressive.
We went to have dinner at the "Cochon Dingue"...great restaurant, and went back to the hotel by 8 PM, since we were all exausted by the day...for a good night sleep.
We all had a great day...it was awesome !
