What I did
Treetop Adventure Park
. Jay, Braiden & Bella got suited up in there safety gear & was shown how to use the course on a practice tree & then left alone to start the course. Braiden went 1st on the beginning flying fox only to miss his landing & swing half way back & unfortunately couldn't get back which being so high above the ground sent him into a bit of a screaming panic alarming the guide who came quickly to his rescue swinging out from the other end & pulled Braiden back with him. After this Jay went in front to make sure the 2 kids got safely to the landing platforms & to catch them. After the 1st incident they had an amazing time. Going over swinging trunks. Climbing across thin wire bridges, across netting, timber obsticles & flying down some more flying foxes. Each course gradually getting higher & higher above the ground & more challenging. I have a fear of heights so I happily stayed at ground level taking photos & videos. After a few hours at the course we left & headed into town to Coles to get some food supplies half way around Coles I felt something wet & slimy sliding down my leg I looked down to see a great big fat leech on the ground. I was so grossed out by this & sorry I had to leave him in Coles. I guess he got so much blood from me he let go his round circle mark stayed with me for days & I bled alot. In the afternoon it was raining but I took Bella to the park up the road for a skate while Braiden spent time swimming. That night after tea we had very friendly visitors of a couple of possums. We fed them some Apples. Another fantastic filled day.
The morning started out with feeding some cockatoos & then ended with being covered in Lorikeets. These are such cute but very noisy birds. We could of stayed feeding them forever but we soon ran out of bread & they lost interest. After our breakfast we set off for our next adventure. Programed our destination in Nav & off we set. But Nav had other plans for our trip there taking us once again onto a scenic track on a dirt road we went around a corner only to discover a very steep, deep rutted huge bouldered road of course being in a 2wd with low panels around our car there was no way we would make it up without doing alot of damage to our commodore, so out with the trusty street directory & made our way back onto the freeway. It was the right road but the wrong end by a few kilometres. When we made it to the Treetop Adventure Park we explained where Nav took us to the guide, he laughed saying the road was so badly deteriorated he didn't even think a 4wd could make it threw
