Today we leave Berlin and make our way to Nuremberg - we were suppose to be up early so we could go vis Dresden and still be in Nuremberg before dark and the only trains we could find where going to take us 4 hours just to get to Dresden (we missed our originally planned train by 10 minutes) so straight to Nuremberg here we come. Now i am not sure if i have mentioned the train system here before but it is amazing so well organised and me being a very organised person loves this - the only shitty thing is if you reserve a seat it is €7 per person at this stage we have only reserved one leg Freiburg to Budapest as it is an over night train and we have not upgraded to sleeping as the train seats are comfortable - the train to Nuremberg was packed and the only vacant seats were in the smoking section which was ok for the 1st hour but when i can taste it in my mouth it was time to move but as the train empties it was pretty easy to find a seat - we arrive and make our way to the camp site now this is the first time i have been upset with the directions on how we get to the site - we got of at the wrong stop but Germans are lovely and a number of them at different times have stopped to ask if we need help - so a lovely couple sent us off in the direction of the camp site 15 minutes away - 1hr later and no signs we finally find it in a pretty bush location and smack bang in the middle of their sports arena - i was exhausted carrying my bag for that length of time nearly killed me - now it is not that heavy and my hips carry most of the weight but with a full day pack clipped at the front that weighs me down ( i have added some pics with my pack under the game plan entry an entry right at the beginning).
Tash organises the next day and i leave it up to her to be my tour guide - our first stop is the marriage fountain she thinks it is important that i visit this, we then make our way to the castle and their gardens - we then find the bunkers which for some reason are closed - we then visit the Rathus and the under ground cellars/prison used in the 1400 and 1500's this was extremely interesting.
