I took a walk to downtown from the hotel. It took about 1 hour (I have short legs).

I visited the railroad engine exhibit/playground and then saw all the vendors selling stuff on the way to the temple. There were a lot of people at the temple since they were welcoming in the new year. They buy pieces of paper with wishes on them and burn them in big pots. They also buy ceremonial white arrows that they leave in their house for one year, then the next new year bring to the temple to be burned. The arrow is suppose to capture all the bad karma.

I also visited the graveyard. They have some spectacular grave markers, but I could not understand the engravings.

I saw quite a few cute little cars, just my size, but the only ride I got was from the airport. I noticed that the driver sat on the right side of the car instead of the left like I am used to in the United States.  I almost got a ride in a rickshaw, but he was too fast for me.
