Today had been a really long day. After we off the train (our last train for the trip). We loaded out stuff up into the bus and were off. Our guide for today is Rocky. I think is is a memory I will never forget Liu Laoshi and Rocky going at it as to what we going to do. (Like normal Liu Laoshi won the fight).
Thanks to Liu Laoshi, we started today by climbing the flaming mountains. (well more like flaming hills to be exact) It was pretty but at the same time super touristy. The mountains really were red. I didn't really climb up the mountains but i did really enjoy the climbing what I did. This was also the start of the turtle club. This club included me and whichever teacher was babysitting me at the time.
While everyone else went to a vineyard Liu Laoshi and I went to the store to get me some medicine for my foot
Lunch was really fun and tasty. I liked the dish what i think Liu Laoshi said was bitter melon in it. After we had eaten several dancers came in. They made several of the other students get up and dance as well. The music was really loud but it was fun to watch the Americans trying to do Asian dancing.
After lunch we went to the ruins of an ancient city. Several of the old buildings were still standing. This is really impressive because they appeared to be made of just caked dirt. Then again it was really hot and miserable. I wandered around a little and then headed back to the bus. Now I am on the 3 hour bus ride to Urumqi.
I feel that after a week I want little or nothing to do with several of he kids on this trip once we get back to Beijing. All they ever do is complain about something or the other. They are causing me to want to be back in Beijing right now a little bit. Today they were saying "How can people live this?" They were asking about the people in the ancient city they they expected everyone to live the same way. I think the worst they have been so far was today where we had lunch. They were cooking goats outside over fires in the sun. Lots of the students were like gross that barbaric.

Flaming mountian
. Since Western medicine is impossible to find out here we had to get me Chinese medicine. This meant going to a Chinese medicine shop. The shop looked a lot like a normal pharmacy. Liu Laoshi asked one of the employees what i should use. Then the compared the first one the pharmacist pulled out and the one i ended up buying. I sprayed it on my foot and it almost instantly my foot started to feel a lot better. After that we went back to the vineyard and met up with everyone to go to lunch.Lunch was really fun and tasty.
