Today was a pretty basic and boring day. We woke up and had a Chinese breakfast buffet. Most of the food was cold or really strange food.

After that we went to the Taersi monastery. This is the place where the Dali Lama was ordained. It was really cool to see all the monks wandering around. I think my favorite memory from the entire trip will probably happen here. This memory would be when we saw a truck going down the mountain with the back full of monks just riding down mountain having a really good time. Sadly I did not get a picture of the monks as they went riding by. I loved how bright the temple was and how it was being taken care of. I wish I knew more about Tibetan Buddhism and their Buddhist stories. But like normal for me I found a lot of
inner piece wandering around.

After that we loaded on the bus and headed up into the mountains to the highest saltwater lake in China. The view driving up there was amazing. I think the best part of the ride was when our bus had to suddenly stop as to not hot a heard of sheep walking down the road. The sheep look really cute from the side of the bus.

For dinner we went to a little family run restaurant. A lot of people at my table were talking about how the food at lunch at lunch was better and how they couldn't believe that that we were expected to eat food that we were being served. I felt bad for the waitresses because I'm sure that she could hear from their tones that lots of people at our table thought that they were too good for the food they were being served.
