So today went from insanely boring to insanely crazy. First we got off the train and checked into the hotel. We were given an hour to clean up. After that we went to see the Terracotta Army. This time it was a lot duller to see than is was last time. It was impressive but less cool because I already had seen it.

After that we went to a buffet lunch, most of the food was cold because it had been out for so long it was really quite gross.

After lunch we went for a bike ride on the city wall of Xi'an. The ride wasn't that hard but it was a lot harder because my bike was way too short for me to be riding. It was a really good way to see the changing times in the city because i could see a crumbling temple in corner, but at the same time in a different part of the path I saw the super modern part of the city. There was only one point where I almost almost fell off the bike. I simply hit a speed a bump at bump at full speed. I almost went diving forward off my bike.

After the bike ride Elise and I went out to wander around Xi'an. We walked around the outside of the Giant Goose Pagoda. We couldn't go inside the gate because it was closed for the night. After that we grabbed a cab and and went to the bell tower. We climbed up the tower. It was really cool to look down on the major streets and see the city gates we had just gone by on bike earlier.

From the bell tower we walked over to the muslim night market. We walked down down the street and got food. First we got something like Chuar Bing. It was really good. Then I got some tea / fruit juice drink. I wish i had gotten the name of that. Finally I got sweet rice paste with mellon jelly and peanuts. OMG that was the best sweet I have ever had.

After that was the insane adventure of trying to get back to the hotel. We spent like 20 min trying to get a cab in one spot. Then we moved and tried again. After about 10 min at the second spot this guy in a motorized riskshaw came over and said came over and said that he would take us for 20 kuai (later we found out we meant 20 kuai a person). We got in and almost immediately were almost hit by a bus. In reality it was no more dangerous than a normal taxi ride. I was expecting the rickshaw to be destroyed at any second. When i say it
