Long day on the bus getting into Belarus. Had a brief city tour of Minsk which is the capital of Belarus and the city had a very different feel to it then any of the cities we visited in Russia. Our dinner at the hotel was brutal and did not have a very positive effect on our bodies lol. The currency in this country is truly comical. We paid 10,000 Belarussian Rubles to get into the club at night. Beers were between 4 and 7 thousand rubles. The exchange rate was about 2,000 to 1 american dollar and about 2,600 to 1 for a Euro. The best part about it is that they have 10 ruble dollar bills which literrally you would be saving money if you used them as toilet paper. It's how I envisioned a communist country to be with huge sums for everything and alot of paper money that is really worthless. The nightlife was some of the best we've seen though and I really wihs we had more then one night here. We went to a club that played good music and the women were dressed up like nothing i've ever seen. Not alot of English spoken from th locals but still a good night out. We are off to Poland tomorrow and apparently the border is killer there.
Are you guys going to check out Poland, I hear that Polish girls are really sexy and hot! Any ways good to hear your having a great time, can't wait to see the photos when you return. Have fun!
