After a cold spell for the last week or so, the sun came out today and the temperatures warmed up to 20C. Since I only have 1 set of "warm" clothes, I quickly stuffed them in the wash and walked outside in my standard shorts and T-shirt outfit. I can't wait to get back to the beach. While I was having lunch sitting outside my favorite restaurant, I saw the most amazing thing. There was an 4 ft tall old woman that looked to be about 600 years old (think Yoda in Attack of the Clones rather than Empire Strikes Back, but a little less green) watching over her fish drying in the sun. She calmly, very deliberately stood over her fish and clapped fly by fly to death without missing and tossing them on the ground. I saw her kill 3 flies in a row with 3 claps. When I looked down there were at least 7 flies lying dead on the ground all around the fish tray. I couldn't believe my eyes, but I guess THAT is why I fail. "Do or do not, there is no try." The Force is strong in this old woman. I was really tempted to hand her my chopsticks to see if she was as good as Mr. Miagi in "Karate Kid". If I could only have found a light saber to give her, she would have made an excellent National Geographic Photo. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me.
On a somewhat related note, albeit tangential. We had dinner with a local girl that has lived in Yuyao all her life a few days ago. She asked me what I thought about her town. Unfortunately, I have this problem with being overly honest. I said something about a slimy mud hole, but admitted that the rivers and the mountains were beautiful when pressed. But it wasn't until today that I realized that I was living in Dagobah, China

What's Up?
Two weeks with no update. I need something to read with the morning coffee when the news gets too depressing. Steve
Sorry buddy, I'm missing...having a good time
Not much interesting goes on in the small town of Yuyao, China. Grandma Miagi was already a stretch post that I hope you found interesting. I've also been working hard on the market to make some money before disappearing again to the remote islands of Thailand. Gotta love GE hitting $12/share unless your Buffet. Maybe he is getting dyslexic in his old age buying at $21/share. I backed up the truck up at 13 to weather out the storm while I chill on my hammock praying the world doesn't end while I'm away. I've got a GTC order at 18 and change in case of a nice rally while I'm incommunicado sitting on my hammock. If it executes, that trade alone will pay for my entire time on the islands. If it doesn't, it'll still paying 7% dividend. All I gotta hope for is GE doesn't go belly up. Cheers!
