Okay, okay, enough ragging on poor old Sicilia. Granted, the island has been beautiful. Challenging, not only physically but gastronomically. I've suffered 3 major bouts of food poisoning, and Ainaz has had just one, but threw up as many times as my 3 episodes combined. We've sworn off meat, any water that doesn't come from a grocery store shelf, and pretty much anything else that doesn't unwrap or peel. Personally, I'm loving the cereal. The selection leaves some to be desired, but we're both having a joyous time reliving our youths around the breakfast table with fat bowls of coco krispies!

Spent the past 2 nights in a bungalow recovering from our most recent sicknesses. Well worth the 40 euro per night charge. Fresh linen, comfy bed, on the beach, private patio with kitchen and hot shower. Well, pseudo hot shower. One of those electric rigs up on the wall that heat up enough water to fill a small sink, but it did the trick. One limb at a time.

With a title like that, I was expecting some action shots! And what's that green tumour-like thing that keeps showing up in your photos tainting the European landscape?
