Spent a while in the morning walking around the town seeing what it had to offer. They had a cool water show in the middle of town with little kids playing chicken with the jets. I hoped they would all get soaked but they all managed to escape a drenching. Damn!

Didn't want to do anything so went to the cinema to watch a movie, After the Sunset, dubbed into Chinese. It was OK although I had no idea what they were saying. However Salma Hayek did what she does best, wearing very little, and reinforced my intention to spend more time in Central America! If anyone knows any websites with cheap flights from California to places in Central America then please send me an email.

After the cinema we went over the road to Carrefour. It was pure chaos! 3 floors crammed full of crap and Chinese people. I got some shampoo and tried to navigate my way out. Dumped our stuff at the hostel and headed over to the nearby Kunming hotel for a spot of 10 pin bowling. We played 6 games for 2 quid and had a lane each! Great fun although I got progressively worse with each game and finished last.

In the evening we went to the Cafe de Camel for some OK Chinese food. Dave purchased a bottle of Baileys and we quickly polished it off between the 3 of us. Ended up next to a load of people I didn't really trust (pretty sure they were pimps and prostitutes) but got chatting to them and ended up going to a club with them.

We had to take 3 taxi's and Jesper was in one by himself with the Chinese pimps. We both arrived at totally different sides of town and no idea where we were supposed to be. Also got me pretty worried as I had $400 on me that I had withdrawn earlier! Finally arrived at the club and got in for free as usual.

I hated the club (Cobra club if your interested) and left within 2 hours. It played the worst music I have ever heard in a club (even worse than Event 2 in Brighton) but they plied us with free drinks all night. It was just a pickup joint where all the barmaids wore a big blue badge with a number on it and were supposed to chat you up to get you to buy more drinks. Not my sort of club! Dave and Jesper seemed to love it though and got back at 5:30am.
