Knew there was a ferry to Hung Hom from HK Island so that seemed like the logical option. It cost 3 times as much as the ferry to Kowloon so seeing as we had nothing better to do we thought we'd check out how far a walk it would be. The answer was too far!
It was a trek in scorching heat, that even with a small day pack seemed a struggle. We would need to take the subway tomorrow for sure! No matter how much more it cost!
Seeing as we had gone all the way to the station we stopped for a quick coffee before going in search of some Internet access in Tsim Sha Tsui. Stayed there for a good couple of hours catching up with the diary and listening to some choons on the radio. Everyone else in the cafe seemed to be playing online games at full volume so when I phoned home it must have sounded like a war zone!
In the evening we went to see the bar street in HK Island, Lan Kwai Fong. It was pretty expensive so we milked it as long as possible whilst watching the people with far more money than us knock them back.
