Warm and asleep under the covers, we woke up at 6AM to a noise that we were not familiar with, a snow blow.  I looked outside and couldn't what I saw, everything was white.  For days the weathermen said we would have snow, but last night they said we would only be getting rain.  We fell back to sleep until 9 and went outside to shovel snow for the first time in years.  We were planning to head to Ocean City, but decided to stick around to help out my parents since my dad had surgery on his arm.  As we shoveled the new sidewalks, my father supervised from the front window.  It was cold, we do not have a lot of warm clothes at my parents house, so after a while we asked for some gloves.  Our fingers were starting to freeze.  The snow was wet and heavy, Bart did a great job.  My back is a little sore, not used to doing that but guess my body could with stand carrying around a 50 bag for 7 months.

We spent almost the entire day in the house, working on resumes, looking for jobs, and looking for somewhere warm to go.  My brother was smart, he left on Friday for a cruise in the Caribbean.

We called Bart's mom to tell her we would be up to shovel when it slows down, by the time that happened, kids already knocked on her down to see if they could shovel the snow for some extra cash.  So we headed to my grandparents house to shovel them out.  They said there was no need, maybe tomorrow, but we figured get rid of most of it today and if there is new snow we would head over tomorrow.

Now sitting around, we don't know what to do or even watch on TV.  We still adjusting to living in Pennsylvania.

Can't believe it snowed 10 inches today and we were trying to avoid winter for the year!!!!
