We were up early this morning.  Made some of the cold broccoli salad, that everyone seems to like.  Since we were going to a BBQ at 2pm today, we thought it would be nice to bring something.  Around 12 Robert was ready to leave, he really wasn't sure where he was going, Nadia gave us great directions for the main streets and the side streets were up to us.  We were about half way there when I realized I didn't take the video camera off the charger.  I know Robert was a little upset, but oh well what could you do, we were on our way back to the house.  Got the camera and left again.

As we got closer to their house, we messed up a few streets ended up going in a circle.  Eventually found our way and only arrived a few minutes late.  Giuseppa was working in the front yard and greeted us as soon as we got out of the car.  You could just see on her face how happy she was to meet him.  As soon as Cathy and Michael realized we were their they came outside as well.  They invited us into the house and started talked, so shocked that they had relatives in the U.S., they had no idea.  Thanks to all of Robert's research, it's all paying off.  They talked about how they were related, what they did back in Italy, why they came to Australia and so on.  The photo albums came out and we spent hours going through pictures.  Micheal fired up the Barbie and we soon had enough food on the table to feed an army!  Sausages, lamb, steaks, chicken, tomato salad, arancia, cafe, chinotto and pannetone for dessert.  I cannot believe the amount of food we ate.  After a while Belinda and Jarred arrived, Jarred is so cute, a little guy.  Just learning to be potty trained and while we were there he finally did it!  Right after dinner..

After a while we realized we were not going to make it on time for dinner at Frank an Joyce's... we felt so bad.  We really didn't think we would stay as long as we did but the conversation never slowed down.  Robert called Frank & Joyce, told them to start without us and we would be leaving in 15 minutes.  But won't you know it Anthony arrived, we talked to him for a while.  They called more relatives in Melbourne  and gave us addresses in Sydney for us to make plans to meet then of course we started taking photos.  But it was getting later and later and we really needed to go.  The last thing we wanted was for Joyce and Frank to get upset with us.  We said thank you, gave our hugs and kisses and were off.  Luckily for us Anthony and Michael offered to drive us to the motorway, which has an exit to Joyce's house.  And we were on the road.  I said we had to call Joyce's to let her know we were on the way, as I picked up the phone Sabrina called and said that everyone was going home.  We felt soooo bad. She said they were going to sleep.  But Robert insisted he was going over to apologize in person.  When we arrived the lights were still on so we sent to the door.  They were great and understood how this happens, we all ended up talking and telling stories for about 2 hours.  It was soon almost 11PM and we said we should let them go to bed and we headed back to the house.
Robert still in research mode headed right to the computer, and I went to bed.
